Future Flex is here

8 DECEMBER, 2011

For some time the Aloha AF1 Tour and the Aloha Bean have been available through Global Surf Industries in what's commonly known as SLXC construction. What does this mean? Well its basically a stringerless, high density EPS core laminated in epoxy resin with a parabolic carbon fiber frame. And here's the good news... GSI recently updated this technology and renamed it Future Flex. The man behind the Future Flex technology, Mr Hayden Cox, is the same man orchestrating the update. That said, its safe to say the new boards are coming out looking real sweet.

You'll start to see the new Future Flex boards hitting the racks right about now. If you're wondering how they surf here's the deal; the carbon fiber frame maximizes speed and drive whilst maintaining a lively and responsive flex pattern that flows with the wave. You'll feel the board store and release energy as you transition through a turn, almost like a whipping sensation. Sounds promising huh... well our team riders love em and we certainly trust their judgement.
