ANOTHER BLOODY SECOND!

“Another bloody second”, these were the words that came from Jay’s mouth after he placed 2nd to Kolohe Andino at the 6 Star Fantastic Noodles Pro held recently at Kangaroo Island. It’s the second runner-up place Jay’s had in as many months.

Not a bad result really, in fact Jay has now moved to 44th position on the ASP Men’s World Rankings, making him the highest placed NZ surfer in the world.

Jay rode the 6’0” Aloha AF2 at Kangaroo Island, and despite average conditions was happy with his choice of shooter. “Waves were pretty flat but that little AF2 was working a treat”.

With a few more decent results we might see Jay on the World Tour in 2012.
