Luke's presence on the world surfing stage is preceded by what can only be described as a remarkable junior career including an Australian and a World Junior Title. With credentials like these it's little wonder the stylish Queenslander would eventually cause a stir when he embarked on a global assault. A handful of WQS victories and some respectable results on the World Tour are testimony to a natural talents that has been groomed by his good mate Kelly Slater. Luke has a carefree approach to life but you can be sure when it's time to compete he is a force to be reckoned with. His lightening fast forehand snaps are a text book example of classic lines coupled with new school flair.
