Mark was born and raised in Maroubra and proudly wears the Bra Boys tag. He gained his reputation as a big wave rider and is now considered to be one of the worlds most accomplished watermen. His insatiable desire to ride and conquer the biggest and heaviest waves in the world does not reflect his conservative persona on land. These days, Mark still loves to ride giants but his focus has shifted to the dog-eat-dog world of competitive surfing. If determination, commitment to training, and a fierce forehand hack count for anything, it won't be too long before we see his name on the World Tour ratings.
